All students present in
grades 3 and 4 for testing on Monday, May 17!
May 17-21, 2010
The WESTEST test is about
to begin in our school for third and fourth graders.
It is important to convey a positive attitude toward these
achievement test to our students and your child.
Please help in your child's success by helping to do these
things during test week. Thank you in advance.
1. Students need plenty of rest:
Get children to bed each night at a reasonable hour to give
the body
and brain a chance to recharge!
2. Eat your Breakfast:
Students and adults cannot concentrate when their belly's
are talking! Your muscles and brain need nutrients to get
prepared for the day after resting and sleeping through the
night. Make sure to get breakfast at home or school.
3. Keep Your Kids in School:
It is important to not pick students up unless absolutely
necessary. Please wait until the scheduled pick up
time at the end of the day to prevent any testing
interruptions.
4. Bring a Positive
Attitude: Your child or children have worked hard all year to prepare for
these achievement tests. Let's support them in this
important endeavor.
