Grading Policy
Mr. Husted’s Grading Policy
All of my Classes will have practice work, which will be graded with a 5-point rubric. The will earn their scores according to the following standards.

- Name and appropriate heading is on the assignment - Student work is neat and readable - All work is shown (including rewriting the original problem) using appropriate steps - Student work is Complete with at least 80% of the answers correct |

- Name and appropriate heading is on the assignment - Student work is neat and readable - Most work is shown (including rewriting the original problem) using appropriate steps - Student work is Complete with at least 60% of the answers correct |

3points |
- Name and appropriate heading is on the assignment - Student work is readable - Most work is shown using appropriate steps - Student work is mostly complete with at least 40% of the answers correct |

- Name and appropriate heading is on the assignment - Student work is readable - some work is shown using appropriate steps - Student work is mostly complete with at least 20% of the answers correct |

- Name is on the assignment - Student work is readable - Answer are attempted (Work is not shown) - A majority of the work has been attempted with at least part of the answers correct |

Test will be given a score out of 50 points. I also give half credit back on test corrections plus 5 bonus points for a parent signature. Quizzes will be given scores out of 20 points. At the end of each grading period these scores will be averaged and sent home on progress reports or report cards. The grading scale is as follows:
- 93% - 100% = A
- 85% - 92% = B
- 75% - 84% = C
- 65% - 74% = D
- 64% or below = F
