The Roane County Schools Food Service Program will accommodate most medically documented and ordered diets that students may require. These diets must be by a physician's order and on file at the school.
If for some reason you decide not to participate in the school meal program, please be advised that you must provide for your child's meals while attending school. It has been proven by many studies that have been made that only when a child's hunger has been satisfied are they willing and able to use their mind to learn, and we all want as we are sure you do, for your child to develop to their fullest potential.
You will receive an itemized billing once per month, usually immediately following the end of the month, that gives you detailed information about what days your child ate either breakfast or lunch, and the total amount of the bill due the school. It is much appreciated if your child's meal bill is paid promptly within 10 days. This allows us to continue serving nutritious and healthy meals for all the children in our school system.
